- How long does an IVF cycle take?
- A standard IVF cycle typically spans several weeks, depending on your stimulation protocol and response; your physician will outline your specific timeline at your evaluation.
- What is ICSI and how does it differ from conventional IVF?
- In conventional IVF, eggs and sperm are placed together in the laboratory. In ICSI, a selected sperm is injected directly into the egg; it is usually considered for male factor or previous cycles with low fertilization. Your physician will determine which applies to your case.
